The Installation of the Ridge Purlin of Batch 2 houses

Owing to the government safety guidelines on COVID-19 pandemic to reduce gatherings, most of the physical village community engagement events were cancelled, except the “Installation of the Ridge Purlin” (main purlin) (上主樑) ceremony.

The “Installation of the Ridge Purlin” ceremony is considered a very important ritual marking an important stage for the completion of construction and restoration of a village house. The ceremony for the Batch 2 houses at LOT 210-213 was held on 27 Oct 2020, village house owners and representatives were invited to join the ceremony. Participants were kept in small groups and following the government guidelines of social distancing.
